It helps us tremendously if you still sign up as a Free Virtual registrant.

Check out our Hybrid Festival page for details and links to live and static virtual content from us and our partners. We are continuing much of these FREE virtual offerings this year. One silver-lining that arose from going Virtual with our festival was the fact that anyone could tune in to our free virtual content from anywhere in the world. Visit our Hybrid Festival page for more info and stay tuned for new ways to connect with the Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival. We are looking forward to sharing the migration with you in-person or virtually from wherever you are perched around the world. The birds are migrating north and will still be filling Hartney Bay, Alaganik Slough, and the surrounding Chugach National Forest, feeding and resting as they head to their breeding grounds, and we now know that birding outside is safe and healthy as long as basic social distancing and hygiene measures are followed. In order to keep our communities in Cordova, Alaska, and worldwide safe during coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreaks, and consulting directives from the Center for Disease Control and Alaska Division of Public Health & Social Services, the Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival planning committee will be hosting a hybrid festival format (online + limited in-person events) for our 2021 event on May 6-9, 2021.
